Stoltenberg stressed that the Ukrainians were able to repulse the enemy, therefore he called on the West to continue to support our state.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the war in Ukraine is approaching a turning point.

The Secretary General said this at the US Ramstein base in Germany, Associated Press reports.

“War in Ukraine is approaching a turning point. We see that the Russian offensive in the Donbass has stopped. We see that the Ukrainians were able to fight back, strike back and retake part of the territory,” Stoltenberg said.

According to him, the war in Ukraine is at a critical point as Russia loses control over the occupied territories. Therefore, Stoltenberg urged the West to believe in Ukraine and prepare for a hard winter.

Earlier, Jens Stoltenberg said that difficult times await Europe due to rising energy prices, even riots are possible.
