Burbock stressed that China is also " responsible for world peace” and that Beijing “should not supply arms to Russia.”

German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock, commenting on the war in Ukraine, said that the next days would be decisive for the whole world.

The head of the German Foreign Ministry said this at a briefing.

“The next days will be decisive not only for Ukraine, but decisive for world peace,” Burbock said.

According to the head of the German Foreign Ministry, there are countries that do not condemn the war in Ukraine. But they do this not because they do not support the UN Charter, but because they are heavily dependent on Russia.

“This war (in Ukraine. – Ed.) has terrible consequences for the whole world. Therefore, just one of these days in New York (at the General Assembly at the UN. – Ed.) The whole world will appeal to President Putin with a call to end the war and withdraw troops, as well as take care of restoring peace,” she continued.

< p>Also, Burbock emphasized that China, too, “is responsible for world peace” and that Beijing “should not supply Russia with any weapons.”

“I have made it clear that China, in particular, as a member of the Security Council, is responsible for world peace in the situation that we are now experiencing with the Russian war of aggression, which is also a violation of international law. This also means that China does not must supply Russia with any weapons, including dual-use goods,” the minister added.

Earlier, Annalena Burbock noted the need to further help Ukraine with air defense and tanks.

Recall that US President Joe Biden, during a visit to Kiev, said that Putin's war of conquest is heading for defeat. However, he warned that “difficult days, weeks and years” await Ukrainians.

Tomorrow, dictator Putin will address the Federal Assembly of Russia. According to some experts, during this address, Putin may announce a general mobilization in the Russian Federation or announce other escalation steps. At the same time, others believe that the dictator can declare that “the goals of the “special operation” have been achieved.”
