Former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has denied rumors about problems accessing Donald Trump's rally, who officially became US President on January 20.
Morawiecki called these reports “lies” and explained that his trip to Washington was connected with another planned event.
The former prime minister explained that he was going to a “pre-agreed interview” and was forced to get to his destination on foot due to the blockade of the US capital. On his way, he asked the guards for directions, but because he didn't have a badge, the guards asked him to confirm his identity.
“They showed me a detour, and I finally reached the interview site. I gave the interview. This is the only truth about what happened in Washington. “Everything else is manipulation,” Morawiecki said.
Earlier, a video appeared on social networks in which the Polish Deputy Prime Minister allegedly tries to get to a rally in support of US President-elect Donald Trump on the eve of the inauguration, showing his Wikipedia page.
