Waiting for a new record: the air in Moscow on Thursday warms up to 36 degrees
Waiting for a new record. Today the air in Moscow and the region will heat up to 36 degrees, according to the Phobos Weather Center.
Such heat, as on Wednesday, has never been in the history of meteorological observations. At the station at VDNKh, the thermometers rose to plus 34.8 degrees. The reason for such anomalous heat is in the subtropical anticyclone, which stands with a dome over Central Russia. It will only leave by the weekend, and the temperature will start to drop slightly. In the meantime, Muscovites are cooling off in local waters.
