“Wagnerites” became taxi drivers: what do the ex-mercenaries of the murdered “cook Putin” do?

Former “Wagnerites” Upon returning from the war in Ukraine, they faced problems even in their own country. They don’t want to hire Prigozhin’s ex-mercenaries for jobs related to the Russian army.

Upon returning from the war in Ukraine, mercenaries from the Wagner PMC are refused to be hired by law enforcement agencies, military-industrial complex enterprises, and even restaurants. That’s why militants get jobs as taxi drivers and construction workers.

This is reported by the “We Can Explain” Telegram channel.

After the withdrawal of PMCs from Ukraine, most of the “Wagnerites” were sent on vacation, after which they expected to go to hot spots. But at the end of August, an audio message circulated in the chats of “Wagnerites” with a call to look for work in other areas due to competition from PMCs from the Ministry of Defense in Africa and the Middle East.

As a result, it turned out that Prigozhin’s former subordinates were being denied employment to defense enterprises, factories and the National Guard, so former militants get jobs in construction, taxis and various industries.

So, the Telegram channel tells the story of one mercenary who, upon returning from the war, planned to get a job at a new Kamchatka drone factory – kamikaze. But the pardon paper did not help the former prisoner.

“They said: “You’d better look for another place.” They didn’t even take the application,” said the mother of the ex-Wagner man.

Where are the “Wagnerites” now

In Belarus, the “Wagnerites” sign contracts for security and participation in hostilities in Africa. In particular, we are talking about those who transferred to the PMC GardService LLC.

In addition, the Russian Guard is probably recruiting previously imprisoned former fighters from Wagner to subjugate Russian mercenaries and at the same time strengthen the internal security of Russia.
