Seven Russian mercenaries were killed in an attack in Mali.
A column of Russian mercenaries from the Wagner PMC was defeated again in Mali. This time, in the central part of this African country, the Wagnerites were attacked by Al-Qaeda militants.
This was reported by Reuters with reference to the Site Intelligence group, which monitors Islamist activity.
Photos that appeared online show captured weapons, ammunition and equipment with the emblems of the Russian PMC.
Responsibility for the attack, which took place on Thursday, November 21, was claimed by the Al-Qaeda branch in North Africa.
According to unverified information, seven Russians were killed during the attack mercenaries.
The published video shows the bodies of at least five white men in military uniforms lying around a military vehicle after the attack.
Recall that earlier, in July of this year, in the Republic of Mali in northwest Africa, local Tuareg rebels ambushed and destroyed a convoy with dozens of Russian mercenaries from the Wagner PMC.
