However, the Lower Austrians did not want to achieve more than the second goal.

Pure entertainment in the Waldviertel

The first half turned out to be really lively and entertaining. Innsbruck took command from the start and fired the first warning shot in the person of Okan Aydin (11th). Subsequently, the Innsbruck team left two top chances within two minutes. First, Zaizen moved very gently after Ronivaldo template (19th), before the Brazilian also served Marco Holz. But the German failed from close range to Antosch (20th). The people from Waldviertel presented themselves completely unsorted and overwhelmed during these minutes. Nevertheless, the home side managed to equalize out of nowhere: Patrick Monteiro brought the leather sharply into the penalty area, where Denizcan Cosgun only had to dust off – 1: 1 (24th).

Only two minutes later, the guests restored the lead: Ronivaldo climbed up from a Viteritti corner and headed in from around seven meters – 1: 2 (26th). Wacker was subsequently the more active and dangerous team: In the 32nd minute, after a foul by Yilmaz on Zaizen, referee Weinberger rightly decided on a penalty for Innsbruck, which Florian Jamnig sank in the lower right corner. Daniel Antosch was in the right corner, but no longer on the ball – 1: 3 (33rd).

Horn takes command and makes Innsbruck tremble

The hosts could not deny the effort, however, because even in the early stages of the second half, the Horner presented themselves as anything but reserved. The Spaniard did not get the ball past Knaller.

In the 86th minute, SV Horn rewarded itself for the urge phase and made the game really hot: This time Marco Toro brought the header past Knaller and hit the far corner (86th). Ultimately, however, the guests from Tyrol brought the narrow lead over time and won a well-deserved away win.
