– We would like now to make an interchange at the Vostochny cosmodrome, where we are commissioning the first lane of the airport complex from 2023. … The light metro will connect the airport … with the Vostochny cosmodrome, the city of Tsiolkovsky. A very easy, fast, convenient modern solution, – he said at the Army-2021 forum.
The project is being implemented jointly with the Ust-Katavskiy Carriage Works.
Earlier, Dmitry Rogozin said that the new Russian space station could be in orbit forever. The station will be a platform that will carry a colossal load of instruments and devices. And these vehicles will not need their own solar batteries or engines to adjust their orbits. This task will be performed by the station itself. And the crew will maintain this equipment at the station. And the pragmatism from this station will be an order of magnitude higher than from the ISS, said the head of Roscosmos.
