After a brutal headbutt, Vorarlberg's lower house kicker Raybek Arsanukaev received a 48-game suspension.

The Russian, who was active at the amateur club Viktoria Bregenz, is not allowed to play any more games until 2023. The Vorarlberg Association had given him a 48-game ban, reports the “Krone”. So the amateur kicker summed up the maximum penalty.

On September 11th, Arsanukaev caused a scandal in the duel of the 1b team from Viktoria Bregenz against the second team from Göfis / Satteins in the 4th national class – corresponding to the 9th performance level.

Towards the end of the game, the amateur kicker had indicated a headbutt, received the yellow card and flew off the field with a yellow-red. The referee had explained the decision by stating that the attempt was already a criminal offense.

The Russian kicker obviously didn't like this at all. “I'll show you what's punishable,” the footballer is said to have said and then attacked his opponent. Arsanukaev is said to have broken his counterpart's nose with a headbutt.

The incident was reported to the police, who operated on the headbutt victim last week. Arsanukaev is not allowed to play any more games until autumn 2023. And beyond that, there is no future at Viktoria Bregenz. The club said they had excluded the player from the club.
