Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Alexander Volkov found out the name of the next opponent in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). ESPN reports.
It is planned that the 31-year-old Russian heavyweight will fight against American Walt Harris. The fight will take place as part of UFC 254 on October 24th.
On June 20, Volkov lost by decision in a duel against another American – Curtis Blades. The last time he won was in November 2019. At the tournament in Moscow Volkov was stronger than Greg Hardy.
Harris also lost his last UFC fight. The American lost to the Dutchman Alistair Overeem. This was the first fight for an American since the death of his stepdaughter Anya Blanchard. Harris has already fought twice with representatives of Russia. On account of his victory over Alexei Oleinik. He lost the fight with Shamil Abdurakhimov.
On account of Volkov 31 victories with eight defeats. The Russian is a former Bellator champion.
