Voice assistant “Alice” learned how to filter advertising and other unwanted SMS in the Yandex application on iOS.
This was reported by the VC portal with reference to the representatives of Yandex. Alice is able to identify sms messages by content and other criteria based on machine learning and user feedback. All SMS will be distributed to different folders, depending on their purpose and user settings. All messages marked “Spam” will arrive without notification.
The function can be enabled in the settings of the caller ID that is used in the Yandex application. You can also ask the voice assistant about this by saying “Alice, turn on the caller ID”, and select the SMS filtering section.
