The parties at the talks in Vienna came as close as possible to concluding an agreement on a nuclear deal. This was told by the Iranian representative Bagheri Kyani, reports TASS.

“After weeks of intensive negotiations, we are closer than ever to an agreement, but an agreement will not be reached until everything is agreed,” he said.

Earlier, Russia's representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, said that negotiations on a Joint Comprehensive Action Plan (JCPOA) on the Iranian nuclear program could be completed in a short time. According to the permanent representative, several points of the document require additional elaboration, but “the paper is already on the table.”

In February, the US administration decided to reinstate the lifted sanctions exemptions on Iran's nuclear program. At the same time, Washington does not consider this a concession to Tehran. According to Ulyanov, this step on the part of the United States should be taken as the final signal of the negotiations in Vienna.
