Vice-President of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Kalervo Kummola announced the impossibility of holding the 2021 World Cup in Belarus. Reported by Iltalehti.
The functionary noted that he had spoken about this for a long time, but now the situation has become much more definite. He also added that the head of the IIHF Rene Fasel should tell the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko about this. At the same time, Kummola noted that he does not know if Latvia will be able to host the tournament alone.
