In Uzbekistan, calls for non-compliance with laws will be fined. The amount of the recovery will be about two thousand dollars. The corresponding amendments to the legislation were signed by the President of the country Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The text of the law was published in the newspaper of the parliament and government of the country “Narodnoye Slovo”.
Thus, the amended article entails administrative responsibility for a public call for non-fulfillment or violation of the requirements of legislative acts, including with the use of the mass media, the Internet, and the press.
In addition, the owners of web resources and channels in messengers are also obliged to prevent the use of their resources for the dissemination of these appeals, as well as the dissemination of information involving citizens, including minors, in illegal actions.
“If such information is revealed, the owners of web resources must immediately delete it, otherwise access to them may be limited,” the text of the law says.
The purpose of the amendments is to counteract and prevent the spread of false information that threatens the safety of citizens, the propaganda of violence or cruelty, the commission of illegal actions, RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier, Uzbekistan imposed a fine for being on the street without a protective mask. The penalty is $ 23, with a repeated violation it is tripled.
