These poisonous substances do not have special effects, so they are difficult to recognize. Gleb Repich, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, spoke about this on air on Channel 24.

According to him, there are a number of types of chemical weapons. “If Russia now uses chemical weapons, it will be nerve agents, that is, the most deadly warfare agents that exist,” the expert emphasized.

Modern poisonous substances, such as sarin and its analogues, are volatile liquids in their state of aggregation.
Poisonous substances kill in two ways
Repic noted that when ammunition falls, they spray liquids that begin to evaporate and poison the atmosphere. They kill in two ways:
- by contact directly with the skin;
- by inhalation of those fumes that were formed after spraying this substance.
