Earlier, we wrote that Google released an update for the YouTube mobile app, allowing users to set the default quality of the video being played. However, it turned out that not all users liked the innovation.
As a reminder, you can now prioritize the playback of high or low quality videos in the YouTube app. In addition, you can also choose what video quality will be included when using cellular and Wi-Fi. At the same time, there is also a limitation – the “High image quality” mode assumes only 720p resolution.
A number of users did not appreciate this innovation. In particular, they complain that the updated video quality settings have become overly complex to use.
