Enterprises and design bureaus of the United Shipbuilding Corporation announced their readiness to create underwater robots that will guard the Arctic plume and drilling platforms. The implementation of the project will be possible within the framework of the state order.

Alexey Rakhmanov, CEO of the company, announced the possibility of creating unique robots during SPIEF-2021. In an interview with TASS, he stressed that the company's specialists are ready to build robotic systems to protect the marine areas of the Arctic continental shelf.

Construction can begin after detailed design work. It is possible that a highly specialized robotics center will be engaged in the creation of machines, the creation of which is one of the most urgent for USC.

Technology has become one of the key topics at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. In particular, the head of Sberbank, German Gref, announced the imminent disappearance of some professions in connection with the development of robotics.
