Abu Muhammad Julani

The US State Department announced a reward for information on the whereabouts of the leader of the terrorist group Jabhat al-Nusra (banned in Russia) Abu Muhammad Julani. The corresponding announcement appeared on the agency's website.

For help in capturing the terrorist, they promise a reward of $ 10 million. The State Department also noted Giulani's connection with the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham group (banned in the Russian Federation). The terrorist is said to have carried out a series of attacks on civilians in Syria. It is assumed that in 2015, Jabhat al-Nusra militants took about 300 Kurds hostage (they were later released).

On June 25, the United States doubled the bounty for the capture of the leader of the terrorist organization Islamic State (IS, banned in Russia), Amir Muhammad Said Abdel Rahman al-Mawl, also known as Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Kurashi. They will also pay $ 10 million for help in his capture.
