US and Japanese troops will conduct a massive military exercise involving 3,000 people.
According to Japanese Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi, the maneuvers will be held from June 24 to July 11 at the bases and training grounds of Japan. He noted that this will be the largest-scale exercise in the entire history of the country.
– The situation with regional security around Japan is becoming more and more severe. It is very important to strengthen cooperation between the Japan Self-Defense Forces and the US military. This, in turn, will contribute to strengthening the Japanese-American strategic alliance, the minister said.
In early May 2021, Ukrainian border guards conducted joint exercises with the ships of the American coast guard in the Black Sea, where they worked out “coherence of actions.” As stated in the statement of the Border Service, the US military arrived in Ukraine “on a friendly visit, which will include joint maneuvers at sea, trainings to exchange experience in observation and assault operations and a business meeting of representatives of the guards of sea borders and ensuring the safety of navigation of the two states.”
