US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken called for a move towards de-escalation in Ukraine. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

“The diplomatic path to resolve the situation around Ukraine is open, the United States is calling for moving towards de-escalation,” he said.

On February 11, the US Secretary of State said that Russia could launch an invasion of Ukraine at any time, including during the Beijing Olympics. On the eve of the date of Russia's “invasion” of Ukraine, US President Joe Biden named February 16.
