USA will announce new support for Ukraine already

The United States of America is preparing to announce new support for Ukraine in the fight against the Russian Federation.

White House Deputy National Security Adviser John Finer awaits new statements about US assistance to Ukraine next week.

This is reported by CNN.

“We are announcing deliveries, which is a buzzword for things that we provide to Ukrainians to ensure their struggle almost every day, and if not every day, then weekly, and we will have more information about this next week,” he said. Finer. He did not specify what kind of assistance he was talking about.

Responding to a question whether the US was ready to recognize Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism, Feiner said that the administration continues to consider “additional steps” when it comes to punishing the Kremlin for unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.

“We have made it clear that we are considering this issue, as well as a number of other additional steps that we could take to hold Russia accountable for the crimes it is committing on the territory of Ukraine,” the White House spokesman said.

According to him, Washington will continue to demonstrate its “flexibility”, even if Russia continues to attack in southern Ukraine.

“We have demonstrated the ability to be flexible to adjust our assistance and our approach as Russia's military goals evolve. And we will continue to do so depending on how events unfold on the battlefield,” the White House spokesman said.

Finer also drew attention to the changing goals of Russia's war with moment of its invasion of Ukraine two months ago. He noted that the Kremlin forces “decided to adapt” in the face of tough Ukrainian resistance in order to focus more on seizing the south and east of the country.
