In the coming days, the United States will announce another portion of military assistance for Ukraine.
Since the beginning of a full-scale war 24 February and until that time, 13 billion dollars have been allocated to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was stated by the coordinator of the US National Security Council for strategic communications, John Kirby, on August 31, writes CNN.
“We allocated more than 13 billion dollars for the security of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and we will continue to do so. And in the coming days, upcoming security assistance will be announced,” Kirby said.
He recalled that since the beginning of the war, the United States has allocated 7 billion dollars grants for direct support of the budget of Ukraine and more than 1.5 billion dollars. humanitarian aid for the state and Ukrainian refugees.
Recall that a week ago, US President Joe Biden announced the provision of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 2.98 billion dollars.
