The US Supreme Court has rejected the last of three lawsuits by former US President Donald Trump over the alleged unfair victory over him by Democrat Joseph Biden. Representatives of the court did not comment on the case, according to the Reuters news agency.
The previous two claims were dismissed back in February. The latest lawsuit dismissed concerned remote voting ballots in Wisconsin, where Biden officially beat Trump by more than 20,000 votes. Before the claims of the former president went to the Supreme Court, they were dismissed by local courts.
In December 2020, the U.S. Supreme Court also dismissed a Trump-backed lawsuit that challenged Democrat Joe Biden's victory in the presidential election. The judges found no reason for the state of Texas, which filed the lawsuit, to dispute the election results in four other states.
