US State Department responds to Kremlin threats to 'destroy' Lithuania

Any military measures of the Russian Federation against Lithuania will mean aggression against the NATO bloc and will receive a response from the United States.

This was stated in his speech by US State Department Speaker Ned Price

According to him, the United States will definitely support a NATO member country.

“We support our NATO allies, we support Lithuania. Our commitment to Article 5 of NATO – the premise that attacking one will mean an attack on everyone is indestructible,” said a State Department spokesman.

As previously reported, from June 18, Lithuania has banned the transit of goods and sanctioned technologies between Russia and the Kaliningrad region, located between Lithuania and Poland. This caused a hysterical reaction in the Russian Federation, whose authorities threatened “retaliatory measures.”

Recall that the Kremlin began military blackmail in the heart of NATO's eastern flank. On Monday, June 20, the Russian Baltic Fleet began unscheduled exercises of missile and artillery units in the Kaliningrad region.
