In the sky near the borders of Donbass, a reconnaissance aircraft of the US Air Force (Air Force) RC-135V was noticed. This was announced on Monday, December 27, by the Military Informant Telegram channel.

According to the channel, the plane with the call sign Homer19 took off from the NATO airbase on the Greek island of Crete about 6.5 hours ago. Having entered the airspace of Ukraine, he began to circle near the borders of the territories of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR).

As noted by “Voenniy Obshititel”, this type of American reconnaissance aircraft had already been repeatedly noticed in the southeastern part of Ukraine and the Black Sea region. So, on December 15, another RC-135V flew near the Russian borders near the Crimea and Krasnodar Territory.

On December 3, it was reported that Russian Su-27 and Su-30 fighters were flying over the Black Sea to prevent US reconnaissance aircraft from violating Russian borders. Then the airspace control facilities discovered that the American strategic reconnaissance aircraft RC-135 of the US Air Force and the CL-600 Artemis reconnaissance and targeting aircraft were approaching the Russian border.
