State Department Says Secretary Blinken Ready to Meet with Lavrov in 'Due Time'

The US State Department said that Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is ready to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov at “an appropriate time.” This was announced by the head of the press service of the US State Department, Ned Price, reports TASS.
“The Secretary of State is ready to meet with Foreign Minister Lavrov at the appropriate time. The Secretary of State has made this very clear to the [RF] Foreign Minister,” Price said.
On February 15, Blinken phoned Lavrov. The telephone conversation was held at the initiative of the American side. The Foreign Ministry said that the Russian side during the conversation stressed the need to continue the joint work of Moscow and Washington on security guarantees. In addition, Lavrov and Blinken discussed the schedule of upcoming contacts at various levels.
