NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock and British Defense Minister Ben Wallace discussed a “bilateral approach” to Russia. The secretary general of the alliance announced this on his Twitter.
“We continue to assess the security implications [of the strengthening of Russian weapons near the border with Ukraine] and will do whatever is required to ensure the security of NATO members. At the same time, we remain open to dialogue, ”the message underlines.
On December 22, the situation on the border of Russia with Ukraine was also discussed by Blinken and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy and Security Josep Borrell. They concluded that proposals for security in Europe cannot be discussed without the participation of the European Union.
