US President Authorizes Long-Range Weapons to Hit Russia – Assistant Secretary of State

The unprovoked war started by Russia against Ukraine must end with the complete withdrawal of occupation troops from our territory.

US President Joe Biden has authorized the use of long-range weapons in the Russian Federation. This was officially confirmed by the State Department.

This was stated by the US Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Brian Nichols.

According to Nichols, the weapons that President Biden allowed Ukraine to use will give it more opportunities for self-defense.

“If we are lucky, this will allow the Russian Federation to understand that the use of force to seize Ukrainian territory will not be successful, and perhaps it will begin peace negotiations or, even better, simply leave Ukrainian territory. It is up to them (the Russians – ed.) whether this conflict will happen or not,” he emphasized.

Recall that US President Joe Biden allowed Ukraine to fire long-range ATACMS missiles at Russian territory. They will likely be used against Russian and North Korean forces to protect Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region. Moreover, the Ukrainians will be able to strike key parts of military equipment, logistics hubs, ammunition depots and supply lines deep in Russia.
