US intelligence agencies study hacked data from a laboratory in Wuhan, China using supercomputers

by alex

As it became known, the American special services obtained genetic data on viruses in a laboratory in Wuhan. This is the same city from where the newest coronavirus infection began to spread around the world.

According to CNN, right now, US specialists are busy studying the data they have. There is no official information on the channels for obtaining them, but sources say that American experts may have hacked servers associated with research in Wuhan.

Since genetic information is complex enough to be processed by ordinary computers, engineers use supercomputers for this purpose in the laboratories of the Department of Energy, journalists say.

Complicating matters is the fact that all of the scholars' notes were made in Chinese.

At the moment there is no information on how soon the study of the materials will be completed.
