The United States will strongly support the people of Ukraine in the fight against the aggressor, the Finance Ministry stressed.
The US Treasury Department on January 6 imposed sanctions against suppliers of Iranian UAVs that were used to attack civilian targets in Ukraine.

“As a result of today's action, all property and interests owned by individuals and entities located in the United States or owned or controlled by US persons are to be blocked and notified to the Treasury. In addition, any entity owned, directly or indirectly, 50 or more than a percent of one or more blocked persons. Sanctions generally prohibit any transactions by persons from the United States or within the United States that relate to any property or interests in the property of blocked or certain persons.
The United States has imposed financial restrictions against such individuals:
“We will continue to use every tool at our disposal to deprive Putin of the weapons he uses to wage his barbaric and unprovoked war against Ukraine. The United States will act quickly against individuals and entities that support Iran’s UAV and ballistic missile programs, “and will strongly support the people of Ukraine,” Treasury Secretary Janet L. Ellen said.
Recall that the White House is concerned because deep cooperation between Russia and Iran may threaten not only Ukraine, but also US national security.
