US has data to find out the origin of coronavirus – NYT
The US intelligence services have some data that may help in identifying the source of the new coronavirus, writes The New York Times.
According to the publication, the intelligence has received information on this problem that has not yet been studied, and computer analysis is needed to better understand it.
As the newspaper notes, we can talk about such data as the movement of laboratory workers in Wuhan and the nature of the outbreak of the coronavirus there.
In addition, the White House expects US allies to tap into the intelligence networks of their allies to learn more about the laboratory and its work.
Earlier it was reported that US intelligence data indicated that at least three Chinese scientists from the Wuhan Institute of Virology were seriously ill in November 2019.
The journalists of the publication managed to get acquainted with the unpublished report of the US intelligence community. According to intelligence, “in November 2019, three researchers from the Wuhan Institute of Virology were so badly ill that they had to be treated in a hospital.”
