The final decision will be made on February 3.
A US federal judge in Washington has blocked President Donald Trump's decision to freeze grants and loans worth 3 trillion dollars.
This is reported by The New York Times.
The report states that the judge decided to suspend the White House order in response to a lawsuit filed by the activist group Democracy Forward. February 3.
Additionally, the attorneys general of 22 states and the District of Columbia are suing to block Trump's decision until a final review is granted.
“We are grateful for this administrative stay, which will give our clients time to sort out the chaos created by the Trump administration's hasty and ill-considered actions,” said Skye Perryman, president and CEO of Democracy Forward.
The decision marks the second time a federal judge has stepped in to halt Trump's expansive interpretation of his own authority and allow the trial to continue. lands
Earlier it was reported that the US suspended almost all international aid programs, including Ukraine.
We previously reported that the White House Budget Office “is ready to listen to federal agencies”, including abroad. And if these programs and projects are needed and comply with the decree of President Donald Trump, then the US will reconsider these measures.
