The US administration decided to recall all diplomats remaining in Kiev within 24-48 hours. This was reported by the CBS channel on its Twitter account, citing sources.
“The administration of [US President Joe] Biden is preparing to withdraw all US employees from Kiev within the next 24-28 hours,” the channel said.
Earlier, European Pravda, citing a source in the US diplomatic service, reported that US Chargé d'Affaires in Ukraine Christina Quinn and other diplomatic staff of the US Embassy are moving from Kiev to Lviv. As it became known, the main team of the embassy will work in Lviv.
Reports of “Russia's plans to invade Ukraine” appeared in the US media in the fall of 2021. They were quickly picked up by American and Ukrainian politicians.
