A member of the House of Representatives said on social networks that, in accordance with the recommendations, he was inoculated with a drug manufactured by Pfizer / BioNTech. He received the first dose on December 18, on the first day of the new year, the congressman managed to pass a negative test, but then fell ill.
It is noted that Brady is not the first member of the Republican delegation from the state of Texas to get sick. Congresswoman Kay Grager also tested positive. Only 50 members of the House of Representatives were infected with the coronavirus or already have antibodies.
On January 5, it became known about the death of two volunteers in Norway, who agreed to be vaccinated with a coronavirus vaccine produced by the American consortium Pfizer / BioNTech. A day earlier, the sudden death of a Portuguese health worker was reported 48 hours after receiving the first dose of the drug. There are also known cases of emergency hospitalization after injection.
The drug developed by Pfizer / BioNTech is currently the only vaccine approved by the European Union for the coronavirus. Moderna vaccination is also allowed in the United States. Both of these vaccines are two-part vaccines. 4.2 million Americans have already received their first injection.
