Michael McCaul believes that House Speaker Mike Johnson will support the initiative.

Head of the US House Foreign Affairs Committee Michael McCall is confident that an alternative bill to finance aid to Ukraine will be presented in the US House of Representatives this month.

This was reported by CNN correspondent Manu Raju on the social network X.

According to the congressman, the bill will be submitted for consideration after Congress decides on funding the government on March 22.

When asked whether Speaker of the House Mike Johnson had made such a commitment, McCaul replied that he expected the speaker to support the initiative.

Recall that Michael McCall is playing a leading role in trying to finalize the proposal and achieve consensus and decision. The new plan calls for $66 billion in military support to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, excluding humanitarian aid.
