An unknown person armed with a knife attacked a pensioner in the French city of Montpellier and inflicted a deep wound on him. This is reported by Actu.fr.
It is clarified that the attack took place at about 11:30 local time. Law enforcement officers are looking for the attacker. The victim is identified as 75-year-old theater director Alain Françon.
It is noted that when struck with a knife, the carotid artery was affected, the victim was hospitalized. The motive for the crime is still unknown.
