Unidentified people in the city of Green in the US state of Ohio opened fire on a private house, in the window of which was displayed a poster “Dump Trump” (“into Trump's furnace”). Reported by The Hill.
The incident took place on November 4, the day after the US presidential election. A resident said that someone stole an anti-Trump sign on the lawn in front of his house, as well as photographed the building and put the photos in the mailbox along with campaigning for the incumbent.
According to the police, then the attackers fired at the window of the house where the poster was. Two shotgun shells were found on the house lawn, the window and the casing of the house were damaged by the shooting.
The unrest in connection with the elections was marked by rather sharp confrontation between the parties. The media reported several incidents of attacks on supporters of a particular party or political movement. On November 4, a video appeared in the media showing a girl from among the protesters insulting a police officer and spitting in his face, after which she is harshly detained.
In the United States, the counting of votes for candidates for the presidency of the country continues. The current head of state, Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden are fighting for the top post. In many states, the difference between presidential contenders is tenths of a percent.
