As a result of shelling of Merefa, Putin's invaders killed at least 21 people. The city is located 30 km from Kharkov.
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, criminal proceedings have already begun on this fact. Russian regular troops shelled Merefa at about 3.30 am on March 17.

Artillery shelling destroyed the city house of culture and a school. It was established that 21 people were killed, injured another 25 civilians, 10 of which — in extremely serious condition.
As of the evening of March 17, rescuers continue to clear the rubble, the number of victims may increase.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 2 of Art. 438 (Violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
