CNN writes about this.

In New York, 39-year-old Rosemary Hein swore at Chipotle restaurant employee Emily Russell and threw a plate of food in her face. The woman pleaded guilty to assault. A court in Ohio sentenced her to an unusual sentence: 1 month behind bars and 2 months of work in fast food

Interestingly, Judge Timothy Gilligan offered the defendant a choice: either serve her entire sentence in prison or reduce it by adding work at a fast food restaurant. Thus, a woman must understand how difficult work in the service sector can be, when she often has to deal with such visitors. “I would like to be in her (the injured restaurant employee – ed.) place,” answered Hein.

It is noted that Hayne had no previous criminal record. She emphasized that she sincerely regrets her actions towards the girl.

“Let's give her the opportunity to not let this day define her entire life,” said lawyer Joseph O'Melli.

Hayne must obtain court approval and work 20 hours a week at the establishment. She is looking for a job.
