The uncle of the Russian mixed style (MMA) fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, Nurmagomed Nurmagomedov, reacted to the actions of vandals in Chelyabinsk, who spoiled the graffiti with the fighter's portrait. His words are quoted by Sport24.

He admitted that he did not consider the incident a provocation. Nurmagomedov linked this with the recent initiative to confer the title of Hero of Russia on the national athlete. “If it was written that he is not an athlete for us, then I would say that this is not so,” concluded a relative of the fighter.
