The UN stated that passage through the Black Sea could be critically important for global food security.

The UN condemned another crime by Russian invaders who fired on a ship carrying Ukrainian gas en route to Egypt grain.

UN Secretary-General's spokesman Stephane Dujarric said that António Guterres condemns any attacks on civilians and infrastructure, regardless of location, including the most recent strikes, reports Ukrinform.

“This is another example of the risk to the global economy, to global trade, that we see in this region. It is a stark reminder that ships continue to face threats in the Black Sea, which threatens the safety and sustainability of agricultural exports,” he said. Dujarric.

The representative of the UN Secretary General stated that passage through the Black Sea remains “critical for global food security and keeping world prices under control.”

Recall that it was previously reported that Russia is exporting Ukrainian grain from the occupied territories to Iran.

In addition, we previously reported that the invaders want to increase the scale of grain exports from Ukraine.
