The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution condemning the denial of the Holocaust

The United Nations General Assembly has adopted a resolution condemning and rejecting the denial of the Holocaust, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the text of the resolution, the General Assembly rejects and unequivocally condemns any complete or partial denial of the Holocaust as a historical event. The UN also called on all member states of the organization to reject such denial, including “any actions committed for this purpose.”
It is noted that the resolution was co-sponsored by more than 60 countries, including Israel, the USA, Germany, Ukraine, Georgia. The resolution was adopted without a vote.
The UN also called on states and companies that own social networks to resist the use of information technology to promote anti-Semitism and distort history.
Earlier, the deputy ambassador of Germany to Russia, Beate Grzeski, announced the growth of anti-Semitism in Germany. She clarified that the German government is taking measures to combat this phenomenon.
