A number of international UZ trains are more than 8 hours late.
Due to severe bad weather overnight in Hungary and Slovakia, which partially paralyzed train traffic in the region, several international Ukrzaliznytsia trains were significantly delayed. Ukrainian passengers who had transfers on the way to Ukraine arrived at their destination late.
The press service of Ukrzaliznytsia reported this on Telegram.
“The good news is that we did not leave anyone alone with the bad weather and waited for Ukrainian passengers in Chop. The bad news is that there are serious delays, and with them forced changes in your plans, which we are truly sorry about,” the company said in a statement.
The following flights are delayed
The company assures that dispatchers, drivers and locomotive crews are doing everything possible to minimize delays. Passengers affected by delays can contact the contact center, where compensatory measures are already in effect.
Let us recall that earlier we wrote that in the Zakarpattia region the checkpoint “Dzvinkovo-Lonya” on the border with Hungary temporarily ceased to operate.
