Ukrzaliznytsia informs about the delay of five trains – the reason

December 21 in Ukraine because of the elimination of the consequences of a fire in a freight train locomotive on the Burshtyn-Bukachevtsy section, five passenger trains are behind schedule.

We are talking, in particular, about trains:

  • # 96 Kiev – Rakhiv (2 hours 45 minutes behind),
  • # 125 Rakhiv – Nikolaev (for more than 1.5 years.),
  • # 15 Kharkiv – Rakhiv (for more than 1.5 years.),
  • # 7/8 Kiev – Chernivtsi (for more than 1.5 years.),
  • # 701 Chernivtsi – Lviv (for 40 minutes).

Representatives of Ukrzaliznytsia clarify that no one was hurt as a result of the incident … Its reasons are now being established.

Also, the train traffic was affected by an accident that occurred on the night of December 21 at a crossing near the Ivano-Frankivsk station.

The driver of the car lost control and collided with a fence at the crossing. As a result of the accident, the driver of the car and three passengers were injured. They were hospitalized.

Now Ukrzaliznytsya is taking all measures to eliminate the consequences of the snowy weather as soon as possible. In particular, railway workers are clearing snow from railway stations, stations, tracks and platforms.

Passengers are encouraged to take into account the complications that may arise due to weather conditions when planning trips.
