Ukrainians in Poland will be given free housing with repairs and furniture: who can apply for help

Ukrainians who are forced to leave for Poland, they will be able to get housing for a long time in this country.

Fifty apartments for long-term residence of Ukrainian refugees will be allocated in the Opole Voivodeship. The housing will be equipped with furniture and household appliances.

According to the project, 17 gminas in the Opole Voivodship will allocate 49 apartments for Ukrainian refugees who have previously settled in this region . It is expected that more than 200 people will receive housing, who can live there free of charge for up to two years.

The area of ​​​​apartments will be 40-50 square meters. Before moving in, the apartments will be renovated, the necessary household appliances and furniture will be purchased.

Which of the Ukrainian refugees will be given an apartment and what will be the conditions for obtaining housing will be determined in each commune separately. PLN 6 million (UAH 46 million) has already been allocated to finance the social housing project.

After the Ukrainians return home, social housing will be used for local residents of the voivodeships who need it.

Recall that Ukrainians in Poland received 4.5 million zlotys of aid.
