Active Group: 46% of Ukrainians believe in the return of Crimea

Almost half of Ukrainians believe in the return of Crimea to the country. It is reported by the portal “Gordon” with reference to the research of the company Active Group.
The respondents were asked whether Ukraine will be able to return Crimea. According to the poll results, 46.1 percent hoped for the return of the peninsula. Of these, 4.3 percent believe that this will happen soon, and 41.8 percent – in the long term. 33.2 percent believe that Crimea will remain part of Russia. One fifth of the respondents found it difficult to answer.
Earlier, the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the party “Opposition Platform – For Life” Ilya Kiva said that the American authorities “secretly agreed” to the reunification of Crimea with Russia in 2014. The parliamentarian added that the American side, having brought the forces under its control to power in Ukraine, could not disregard the position of Russia, which had its own strategic tasks in the region.
