Former People's Deputy of Ukraine Savchenko warned the country against joining NATO

Former People's Deputy of Ukraine Nadezhda Savchenko on the air of the “NASH” TV channel told what awaits Ukraine in case of joining NATO. She predicted that if this ever happens, no one will reckon with the Ukrainian military anyway and warned the country against joining the alliance.
“I was in Iraq and I know how the system of coalition forces works and how NATO works, I think that it will not be good for Ukraine. If we go to NATO, the Ukrainian pilots will sweep the airfield and collect the bull-calves, and the American pilots will fly at our airfields, ”the ex-people's deputy said.
She added that if an alliance war with Russia breaks out, she will be able to reach the border of Germany or France until she is stopped. Savchenko stressed that the organization left only infantry battalions in the Baltic states, not providing them with a decent defense. The politician believes that the collective defense of the alliance will not help Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia in the war against Russia.
Earlier, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov called on NATO for urgent security action, noting that the Russian proposals do not pose a threat to the security of the United States or the alliance. According to Antonov, if there is political will, this can be easily done through the development of serious long-term legal guarantees of security.
