Former Assistant to the Deputy Minister of Ukraine Tishkun spoke about the incident with the dress for the first time

Ukrainian official, former assistant to the Deputy Minister of Education Igor Garbaruk Christina Tishkun explained the appearance in public in a dress with a deep neckline, which caused a scandal. Her words are reported by the Telegram channel of the Strana.ua portal.
“I didn't expect that the photo in the dress would cause such a stir,” said Tishkun. Garbaruk's former aide said she wore a revealing dress to protest gender inequality.
In an interview with the Observer newspaper, Tishkun also said that she was present at the event in Lviv, at which the scandalous episode took place, not as an assistant to Garbaruk, but at a friendly invitation. In addition, she has never been an assistant to the former deputy minister.
In turn, Garbaruk noted that no normal man would ever tell a woman what to wear.
Tishkun and Garbaruk were at the center of the scandal after they were photographed at the end of December as part of an event with the participation of Lvov Mayor Andrey Sadovy. The style of Tishkun's dress drew sharp criticism from the public. After that, Garabaruk resigned.
