The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine explained how to distinguish between Ukrainian and Russian military equipment, and also told what to do if you meet aggressor troops.
This is stated in a post published on the department's Facebook page.
– Russian technology has a dark green and marsh color . Sometimes a tricolor coloration is present. Ukrainian equipment is painted in the form of a “pixel” or a dark green color close to olive , the ministry said on its Facebook page on Saturday night.
The State Special Communications Service added that Russian equipment that entered the territory of Ukraine also has additional signs that indicate the direction of movement :
- oblique line on the body – to Kherson;
- mark Z on the body, National Guard (Kadyrovtsy) – attack on Kharkov, on Kyiv from near Sumy;
- triangle – to Slavyansk and Kramatorsk;
- circle – for mobile reserve.
What to do if you see Russian equipment in Ukraine
The State Service for Special Communications reports that when meeting with Russian equipment, it is necessary to report this to the Armed Forces of Ukraine using the contacts on the website of the General Staff.
– Film the movement of this equipment on video and post it on social networks under the hashtag #warfare_against_Ukraine. If there is a desire and opportunity, destroy enemy equipment by all possible means, the message says.
