82 surrendered Ukrainian border guards were brought to Sevastopol from Zmeiny Island
The Russian military delivered to Sevastopol Ukrainian border guards who had surrendered from Zmeiny Island. The corresponding video was published by the SHOT Telegram channel.
We are talking about 82 employees of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. They surrendered to the officers of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and will soon return to their families. The footage shows how the border guards go ashore from the Shakhtar rescue tug and receive army dry rations.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that all the defenders of Zmeiny refused to surrender, came under fire from Russian troops, after which they “heroically died.” This information was refuted by the Russian Ministry of Defense, providing footage of the prisoners.
On February 26, it became known that units of the Marine Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) abandoned their positions in the area of two settlements in the Donbass and retreated. We are talking about units up to a battalion.
